Attorney Ryan Beardshear, after graduating in December 2014 from the University of Nebraska College of Law, spent a year as a law clerk on the Alabama Supreme Court. Following the clerkship, Ryan returned to Siouxland and has practiced law in Moville since 2016.

Ryan Beardshear began working with Glenn Metcalf as an attorney in 2016 for the firm Metcalf Law Office. In 2017, Beardshear and Metcalf became partners and changed the name of the firm to Metcalf & Beardshear. Glenn retired in 2023, and the name of the firm was changed to Beardshear Law.
